I had such an amazing experience at Ubatuba Açaí! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and vibrant. The space itself is beautiful, super colorful, lively, and just one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect whether you want to sit inside and relax or enjoy the fresh air outside. Alfred, who helped us, was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to explain how everything works and walked us through all the base options they offer beyond just açaí, which I really appreciated. I ordered the traditional açaí bowl with strawberries, peanut butter, toasted coconut, and paçoca. And as a Brazilian who truly loves açaí, I can confidently say it was a 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Every bite was perfect and I enjoyed it so much. I also tried one of their empanadas, they have a great variety to choose from and I went with the cheeseburger one. It was amazing, super flavorful, and paired with the chimichurri sauce, it had the perfect finishing touch. I left feeling happy and completely satisfied. Love this place!! Great location on Main. Açaí bowls are the best. Don’t skip on the empanadas! Mac and cheese are my favorite!

I love this place! I always have a great experience and have never tried something I haven’t liked! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a healthy treat to eat out in the sun by the beach. Make sure you get an empanada!

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here over the years but today was the last time Ubatuba gets any more of my money. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the customer service is awful and I’m sure ownership is unaware of how their business is being represented. Specifically a shorter latino gentleman who will make you feel like you’re entering a game of “is he pissed today?” Russian Roulette….because if he is? You and your order are at his mercy. To add to this - I’ve actively avoided this shop on days I see him working because with the cost of the acai, it’s just not worth the risk. I walk in today to see he’s working… here we go again… Him: “What do you want?” (I think to myself…”great…he’s pissed and my bowl is about to suffer”) Me: “Could I please have a medium Acai bowl with Bananas, strawberries, and overnight oa—“ Him: *cuts me off* “Can you wait until I fill the acai?” Me: “Sorry, I thought I remembered you asking me in the past to tell you the fruits up front so you could stack the bowl from the beginning” Him: *ignores me and finishes placing in the single scoop of acai* Him: *noticeably irritated now* “Ok what toppings” Me: “bananas, strawberries, overnight oats
